Terms and Conditions of Painting and Cultural Holidays

Booking, Payment and Cancellations

After your provisional booking by email, letter or telephone, we ask for a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total cost of your holiday to be paid as soon as possible (preferably within 7 days of your initial enquiry) to confirm your reservation. This can be paid by on-line/manual bank transfer (we will give you account details by e-mail when you book). If we do not receive your deposit within the specified period, we will consider the place available for re-booking. Payment of your deposit will be taken as your acceptance of these terms and conditions and will constitute a contract between yourself and Barcelona Art Connection Studio, s.l. (B66612714)
Your full balance is due 6 weeks prior to your course start date. For bookings less than 6 weeks before departure the full amount must be paid on booking.
Your deposit counts as a non-returnable cancellation charge should you have to cancel your booking eight weeks or less before your departure date.

 

Cancellation refunds
For all Painting and Cultural Holidays
25% Deposit: Non-refundable

6 -8 weeks notice -75% of total rate refunded.
4 -6 weeks notice -50% of total rate refunded.
2 -4 weeks notice -25% of total rate refunded.
Less than 2 weeks – no refund.

Any bank charges on refunds at your expense.

Once your deposit has been paid, the terms and conditions apply.
We strongly recommend you purchase travel insurance in the event of you having to cancel your holiday with us.

Prices
Painting Holiday Participants
Prices include all tuition, artist materials, transport to and from painting locations.  Lunch is included everyday (with wine and soft drinks). Optional evening drinks included.

Cultural Holiday Participants
Prices include all tuition, tickets to museums and sites, transport to and from locations to be visited within the course.  Lunch is included everyday (with wine and soft drinks).  Optional evening drinks included.

Liability
The owners or their insurers shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by the participant(s) while on or in any way connected with the course. We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance to provide personal and public liability protection.

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT to cancel or amend your course in the event of unforeseen circumstances. A full refund will be made in case of cancellation on our side.  We only refund payments made to us for courses booked with us. We do not refund the cost of travel.

Refunds do not apply when your course is cancelled as a result of risk of war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions and similar events beyond our control.

If you are are unable to attend your course due to adverse weather conditions, volcanic ash etc. we will do our best to re-book you on a similar course without extra charge. This is subject to availability on other courses.

MISADVETURE – We accept no responsibility for any loss or damage you may suffer during the period of your course due to accident, illness or bodily injury or loss of equipment of belongings or from any other cause.  We would stress the absolute necessity for you and any other members of your party to effect appropriate insurance cover and we would advise you to obtain a European Health Insurance Card if you have an EC passport (EHIC) – which will cover you for any emergencies in Spain.

For UK citizens call the Overseas Healthcare Team on 0191 218 1999 or apply for a free card online at www.ehicard.uk.org  This will cover you for NHS treatment whilst in Europe.

Your own insurance policy must cover the eventuality of accident/illness/death and any repatriation costs.

Special dietary requirements must be stated at the time of booking.  We cannot cater for special requirements without prior notice.

PRIVACY POLICY
We treat all information you provide us with as confidential.
The information provided by customers during the ordering process such as their name, physical address, email address, and payment information is considered private and (company name) will not sell this personal information to third parties.  This information will be used only to process your holiday.

Barcelona Art Connection Studio, s.l. comes under the jurisdiction of the Spanish ‘Ley Organica 15/1999, de 13 de diciembre, de Proteccion de Datos de Caracter Personal.
